ZephyrFest for 1338 AE (2025) has ended!
We collected at least 25+ bags to give to new players, and gave away over 800 gold worth of prizes to those who donated!
We'll be distributing all of the donated bags to new players in starting areas very soon.
Thank you everyone who made this possible.Even with the event over, you're still able to donate to either charity. CJ will be back with Extra Life in November, so keep an eye out for that.Even if the season of Zephyr is over - giving is not. ZephyrFest is a celebration of the Goddess Dwayna. Since Zephyr is associated with air and Dwayna, we're hosting it around the Spring solstice to celebrate new beginnings. In the nature of Dwayna, we are running this as an RP event that is dedicated to charity - both in-character and out of character!

We raised $102 for Extra Life, $120 for NMDP / BeTheMatch respectfully.We gave out 3.5k gold worth of prizes to those who donated, and donated SO many bags (and an additional amount of gold) to players in Tyria the very next day!Thank you everyone who made this possible.Even with the event over, you're still able to donate to either charity. CJ will be back with Extra Life in November, so keep an eye out for that.Even if the season of Zephyr is over - giving is not. Here's some quick RP rules and expectations for the event.We want this event to be wholesome and focused on the idea of charity, kindness, etc.So - we ask that you please do not bring anything too disruptive, negative, or violent to the overall event.Characters getting into a small argument or tussle is fine. Characters bringing out guns or bombs is not. Characters attempting to poison others or something similiar to shift the tone and focus of the event is also not welcome.The genre of the event is a social and wholesome event. So let's keep it casual and wholesome. Save the other RP for whispers, or just away from the event.Thank you for understanding!
Activities
See the Squad Message for more info on where certain booths will be located.Here are the activities that will be run that players can RP around.(Note: These are mostly for flavor and for RP - nothing's actually organized or requires a monetary donation. Just handwave it or say your character does it in the background.)- Food Stalls: Free food for all participants, including food centers for the unhoused neighbors around the Reach. Served by volunteers of the soup kitchen.
- Information & Donation Booth: A small area where visitors can gather more information about the causes and drop off monetary and physical donations. You can also sign up for neighborhood walks to hand out a variety of goods to the people of different neighborhoods, or sign up for a soup kitchen.
- Carnival Games: Play a variety games here for prizes. These carnival games will cost RP money (not actual in-game gold) - but all proceeds will go to a good cause!
- Petting Zoo & Mount Rides: Come pay a small fee to pet or ride a mount. All money goes to a good cause/Looking to run an activity - either from the above, or something else? Want to give away food from your bakery? Perhaps an auction? A kissing booth? Mount wash or mount petting zone? Reach out to @ciijay for more info.

Like many charity events in real life - we are using the opportunity of entertainment and fun to raise awareness of charities OOCly - in real life.Not only will we be streaming this event (or CJ will, at least) to increase awareness... While participating in the festival, you can have your character donate or help out with charities in the RP world.Giving an OOC donation - or even being a donor - will enter you into a few giveaways, including enough materials to make Light of Dwayna, the longbow Wings of Dwayna, and the legendary greatsword Sunrise.For more information, check out our giveaways page!
